Catherine Esteves is the producer and manager of the company. She first studied science before dedicating herself to the movie and broadcasting sector. She multiplied contacts and experiences in various fields of activity, from music to video post-production. After attending a degree course in the Gobelins school, where she met Philippe Touzery, she went back to her first passion: cartoon film. She then followed the production of several animated series.
In 2001, she obtained her MBA diploma (Master of Business Administration) and became director of structures such as terra Sonica and Du Son à l'Image. Four years later, she was hired by Welldone Films. She accessed to the manager's post in 2006, and got the opportunity to become the executive producer of two full-length movies: "Franklin and the lake's treasure" for Alphanim and Nelvana, and "Igor" for Exodus Film Group. She left Welldone Films in 2008 and decided to create her own company with Philippe Touzery and Olivier Besson: Les Films du Poisson Rouge are born.
